Our founding team brings together decades of leadership in psychology, education, human development, and technology — not as supporting elements, or afterthoughts, but as the core foundation upon which OpenHI is built.

OpenHI is led by Courtney Pierce, a pioneering holistic psychologist, philosopher, systems-thinker, and human potential developer whose work has shaped and changed lives forh two decades. Her expertise in building frameworks for growth and transformation sits at the heart of OpenHI’s mission: to bring emotional maturity and self-knowledge into the center of how we educate and evolve so everyone has the opportunity to fulfill heart-felt goals, dreams, and visions, big and small.

Her co-founder, Dave Singer, is a veteran educator and innovative ed-tech leader with more than 20 years in K-12 classrooms and technology partnerships. He combines deep instructional experience with a forward-looking vision for how schools can integrate emerging tools without losing their human touch.

Surrounding them is a multidisciplinary team of high-level thinkers and builders — spanning ethical technology, neuroscience, education, philosophy, content strategy, and mental health — united by a single purpose: to build the emotional infrastructure that ensures that as technology grows smarter, humanity grows wiser, more connected, and more creative.
